Biryani Cooking Kit

This kit contains 3 perfectly measured pouches: 

1. whole spices

2. curry paste 

3. garam masala

Just follow the simple 3-4 step recipe. Ready in 20-30 minutes - serves 3 to 4 people.

Biryani Kit

1. Marinate 250g of chicken with the entire contents of pouch 3  (garam masala) and 150g of yogurt. Keep it aside.
2. Heat 1 tbsp. of oil in a cooking vessel. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add the entire contents of pouch 2 (curry paste) and cook for another 30-45 seconds.
3. Add 200ml of water and let it simmer until the curry becomes thick and the chicken is cooked through.
4. Spread the cooked basmati rice (rice recipe given below) on the  cooked chicken in an even layer. Garnish with fried mint leaves, fried onions, fried cashews and 1 tbsp. pure ghee. Cover and cook on low heat until steam is seen escaping from under the lid (around 10 mins.)
Rice Recipe: Wash 250g of basmati rice. Add 700ml of water and let it soak for a minimum of 15 minutes to a maximum of 1 hour.Heat 1 tbsp. of oil in a cooking pan. Add the entire contents of pouch 1 (whole spices). Cook for 30 seconds. Add soaked rice along with it’s water. Add 1 tsp. of salt and 1 tsp. of sugar. Mix well and cook until the water evaporates and the rice is cooked through.
